WELCOME TO THE WORLD’S GREATEST COMIC BOOK STORE!
 
A LITTLE HISTORY LESSON... From 1992-2006, a store named Comic Book World operated in this very spot. Employee apathy and poor management at the store level caused owner Paul Mullins to let go of his Ohio operations. When the store manager declined to purchase the store he had failed to manage properly, Kendall Swafford stepped in and Up Up & Away! was born! Since the change in ownership in 2006, Up Up & Away! has been nominated for a Will Eisner Spirit of Comics Retailer Award every year we’ve been eligible. We’ve also been featured in The Cincinnati Enquirer, FOX 19, WLWT and Cincinnati Magazine!
